Students from Seeppukulama Thammannawa Velusumana Maha Vidyalaya Visit Presidential Secretariat and President’s House

Students from Seeppukulama Thammannawa Velusumana Maha Vidyalaya had the opportunity today (05) to participate in the ‘Vision’ programme organised by the Presidential Secretariat, in conjunction with their educational tour.

This programme is conducted jointly by the Presidential Secretariat, the Ministry of Education and the Department of Communication of the Parliament to provide students with a broader understanding of the workings of government.

During the event, Mr. Russel Aponsu, Senior Additional Secretary to the President, delivered a lecture on the Clean Sri Lanka programme.

To coincide with the programme, a valuable gift of plants was presented to the school as a symbol of the importance of environmental conservation.

Air Commodore Asiri Gallage, Director of the Tri-Forces Coordination Unit at the Presidential Secretariat, along with its Assistant Director Major Nadeeka Dangolla and the Principal of Seeppukulama Thammannawa Velusumana Maha Vidyalaya, Mr. D.M.G.P. Dissanayake, were among the dignitaries present at the occasion, along with teachers and other staff from the school.

Mission
