• Meeting with German President Scheduled for This Afternoon
President Anura Kumara Disanayake, who departed the country for an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, arrived this morning (11) at Berlin Brandenburg International Airport.
The official welcome ceremony, hosted by German President Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, will take place this afternoon at Bellevue Palace in Berlin.
Following the ceremony, President Disanayake is scheduled to hold official talks with President Steinmeier.
Accompanying the President on this visit are Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijith Herath, along with a delegation of senior government officials.
