President Anura Kumara Disanayake has appointed Mr. Sampath Manthrinayake, former Secretary to the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources, as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment.
The official letter of appointment was presented to Mr. Manthrinayake this afternoon (20) at the Presidential Secretariat by Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
