President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is set to engage in high-level discussions today (10) with two ambassadors, three high commissioners, and representatives from six nations. This series of meetings is in line with the current government’s policy of strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing global partnerships.
The President will hold talks with foreign diplomats and representatives from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Türkiye, Palestine, and the United States, focusing on fostering closer cooperation in various sectors.
Among the key figures meeting President Dissanayake are His Excellency Khalid Hamoud Nasser Aldasam Alkahtani, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Sri Lanka; His Excellency Semih Lütfü Turgut, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye; Major General (Retd) Faheem Ul Aziz HI (M), High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan; His Excellency Andalib Elias, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Sri Lanka; and Admiral Steve Koehler, a 4-star U.S. Navy Admiral and Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, who is currently on an official visit to Sri Lanka.
These diplomatic engagements reflect Sri Lanka’s commitment to deepening its international relations and pursuing shared opportunities for mutual development and prosperity.
