President Ranil Wickremesinghe made his third appearance at the “Image Expo 2023” exhibition, hosted by CameraLK, held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo today (14). This event serves as a comprehensive showcase of cutting-edge technology from the world’s foremost photography and videography brands, catering to both professionals and hobbyists.
Renowned photographers Dimitri Cruz and Thilina Kaluthotage, who serve as Sony ambassadors, were honoured by President Ranil Wickremesinghe during the event. Additionally, Mr. Lakshitha Karunaratne, a celebrated wildlife photographer, presented a captivating collection of his wildlife photographs to the President.
In a generous gesture, CameraLK also bestowed a state-of-the-art drone camera upon the Presidential Media Division. The “Image Expo 2023” commenced yesterday and is scheduled to conclude on the 15th.
The event drew the presence of Mr. Anushka Gunasinghe, Managing Director of CameraLK, and high-ranking representatives from leading global technology brands and companies.
The Presidential Media Division is fully responsible for socializing the views, actions, decisions and statements of His Excellency the President through the media. Electronic, print and new media will contribute to this through a credible and engaging approach.
